CAR is engaged in a new project “Strengthening the resilience of communities towards cyclones in Southern Africa: the case of Cyclone Idai in Mozambique and Zimbabwe”. The project is part of the Resilience Waters program (RWP) funded by USAID. The project is carried out with Hatfield Consultants Africa.
The purpose of the project is to carry out an assessment of the impacts of cyclone Idai on communities in Mozambique and Zimbabwe and identify lessons, tools, and strategies for the strengthening of communities in resilience against cyclones.
