CAR is carrying out an ‘Economic valuation of veld products in Botswana’ for the Dep. Of Forestry and Range Resources and JICA. It includes surveys in 6 villages through Botswana and desk top analysis. The expected completion date is December 2017.
CAR’s work in the area of environmental/ sustainable development policies is internationally recognized. The Lauder Institute of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania (USA) has ranked CAR 50th leading environmental policy think tank in the world in 2016 (out of 95 global think tanks) and 5th in Africa.
